Top 10 Concerts to Look Forward After COVID—19

Due to the pandemic, many concerts were cancelled, but most of them were postponed and the world is waiting for the instant to run and see their favorite artists live, to live the moment and forget that this pandemic ever existed.

Here are the top ten artists (no order in general and by the author’s choice) that everyone is excited to see soon.

BTS

The famous Korean boy-band was supposed to start their Map of the Soul Tour on April. Many fans were very excited to see them, but sadly the COVID—19 had other plans. On February the group announced the cancellation of their tour in Korea due to the regulation made by the government. In March, they officially announced that their tour in North America would be postponed until further notice due to the pandemic. BTS broadcasted various old concerts through YouTube in an event called ‘BangBangCon’, they also participated in various online concerts such as the one hosted by The Late Late Show, and Dear Class of 2020 hosted by the Obamas. Bangtan also had a live concert yesterday titled BangBangCon: The Live, where they gave a preview of what would be the Map of the Soul Tour. Rumor has it the tour will start soon, as they keep saying they will meet ARMY sooner than they think. Map of the Soul Tour will be a very emotional and energetic event, as it will include songs such as ‘Bulletproof: The Eternal’ and the member’s solos which include their own personalities.

Harry Styles

The former member of One Direction was supposed to start Love on Tour in April but for obvious reasons—as he announced on Twitter—was rescheduled to summer 2021. This is one of the most expected concerts as we all know how successful was One Direction and how many Directioners are looking forward to see one of the stars again. Love on Tour will feature hits like ‘Adore You’, ‘Lights Up’, and ‘Watermelon Sugar’, which are included in the Fine Line album. The tour will contain the most soulful songs Harry Styles have ever written.

The Weeknd

The After Hours Tour was set to start on June in Vancouver. However, due to the pandemic was postponed for 2021. This concert would be filled with the newest hits by The Weekend such as ‘Heartless’, ‘Blinding Lights’, and ‘In Your Eyes’. Fans are looking forward to the sexy-psychedelic aesthetics distinctive of the artist.

Billie Eilish

The beloved new artist announced on May that her Where Do We Go? Tour was cancelled and set to be rescheduled later on. Her fans can expect to hear songs that “are so fun to be in a show; crazy but also depressing”, in short, a rollercoaster of emotions. Some of the songs that you can enjoy live will be “When the Party is Over”, “Bad Guy’, “Everything I Wanted”, and “You Should See Me in a Crown”.

Hayley Williams

The lead singer of the band Paramore announced she would be having a tour named Petals For Armor with her newly-formed band. She was so excited to perform in front of a crowd again and sing songs that were part of her history, but sadly the tour had to be postponed for 2021. Fans can expect songs full of energy, woman empowerment, and strength with singles such as ‘Simmer’, ‘Dead Horse’, and ‘Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris’.

Taylor Swift

The Lover Fest was set to start on April 5, but due to the pandemic, Taylor Swift decided to postpone it for 2021. This tour is going to be a whole new experience, as it is more of a music festival. The artist expressed she wanted to visit places she haven’t visited before and make festivals where there wasn’t any. Swifties can enjoy a show full of the pop-rocking vibe that distinguishes Taylor Swift, as well as an environment full of love, support, and empowerment. Everyone is excited to experience hits like ‘Me!’, ‘You Need to Calm Down’, ‘The Man’, and ‘Lover’ live.

The Foo Fighters

On March, the band announced that even though Dave wouldn’t postpone a show for a broken leg, he would do it for the safety of their fans. The Van Tour was postponed for “the second they are given the go ahead”. This tour is set to be a commemoration of their 25th anniversary where they will return to cities they visited during their first-ever tour back in 1995.

Halsey

Halsey announced via Twitter that The Manic Tour is postponed for Summer 2021. The lovely artist said that touring is her favorite thing in the world and she can’t wait to see her fans again soon. The shows are expected to be full of power and energy, as well as the artistry that comes accompanied with Halsey. This tour will bring songs such as ‘Nightmare’, ‘Without Me’, and ‘Graveyard’ to “life”. Halsey stated that it will reflect her current worldview and that the setlist will include many music genres such as pop, hip-hop, rock, and even country.

Steve Aoki

The artist announced that they will party with their fans in the Neon Future IV: The Color of Noise Tour as soon as they can. Everyone can expect a night full of color and electric music, topped with much good vibes.

Camila Cabello

The Romance Tour was supposed to kick off on May, but due to COVID—19, it had to be postponed. The tour is anticipated to include her biggest hits like ‘Señorita’, ‘My Oh My’, ‘Shameless’, and ‘Liar’, that will make you feel like you’re in a teenage-kind-of-love again.
