CONSOMMÉ RICE BREWED IN WITH CHICKEN BREAST TOPPED IN A CREAMY PARMESAN AND BACON SAUCE

INGREDIENTS & PROCESS

Parmesan Chicken Breast Sauce

  • 1 lb (16 oz) Chicken Breast Tenderloins
  • 6 oz (170 g) Bacon
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) White Onion
  • 1 cup (8 oz) Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Puertorican Sofrito
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup (8 oz) Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 cup (8 oz) Water
  • 1 White Onion
  • Oregano
  • Cilantro

1. Boil a cup of water in the stove 2-3 minutes. Once it starts boiling add the chicken breast.

2. Add the chopped onions, garlic, oregano, sofrito, bacon, and cilantro on top and leave it about 10 minutes to broil.

2. Proceed to add the evaporated milk, parmesan cheese, and alfredo sauces to heat 5-7 more minutes in medium temperature until the cheese is diluted.

Consommé Rice

  • 4 cups (35.3 oz) Rice Medium Grain
  • 6 oz (170 g) Bacon
  • 2 cups (16 oz) Onion Consommé
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup (4 oz) Puertorican Sofrito
  • 1 leaf Cilantro
  • 2 cups (16 oz) Water

1. Sautéed the Sofrito and the Olive oil for 30 seconds at low temperature.

2. Finely chopped the bacon and toss it in the pan until it reaches a crunchy.

3. Proceed to add the rice and consommé. Mix it to get the ingredients together.

4. Add 2 cups of water. Let it cook for about 20 minutes at a medium-high temperature.

5. Once the 20 minutes are completed, stir the rice before it sticks to the bottom. Bring the temperature to low, and let it cook for another 5-7 minutes.
